Michibiki

Through the “Michibiki” program, the open science movement at Kyoto University will be promoted by subsidizing the article processing charge (APC) applied to outstanding articles submitted to open access journals by researchers at the university. In addition, the program aims to spread awareness of the recent problem of journals released by disreputable publishers, as well as to educate researchers on the practice of fair and open publishing.
