Message for researchers

I would like to provide support so that your research will be communicated to society and the results of your research will be widely used in society.

Specialized field/skill

Geology, Paleontology, Geological Heritage, Regional Development

What made you decide to become a URA?

While engaged in science communication related to earth science at the Geological Survey of Japan, I became convinced that if we could communicate our research to society in an easy-to-understand manner, not only would more people empathize with our research, but also our research results would be more widely used in society. I thought it would be wonderful if Kyoto University's wonderful results could be communicated to society more widely than they are now, and if those wonderful results could be utilized more widely in society, so I applied for the URA of Kyoto University.
