European Flagship Funding Programmes ~How to prepare a successful grant application~

This seminar will provide an overview of opportunities for research cooperation and mobility projects between Japan and Europe, with a particular focus on funding schemes within the EU's flagship research and innovation Framework Programme, Horizon 2020: The Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF) and European Research Council (ERC) are grants for individual researchers wishing to spend several years in Europe either in a research team that already exists or by creating their own research group. The event offers concrete advice on successful proposal writing and features experience feedback from past awardees. (Lecturer: Dr. Matthieu Py, EURAXESS Japan)

  • Experience feedback from Kyoto University team involved in H2020 project CORTEX (by Prof. Toshihiro Yamamoto, Institute for Integrated Radiation and Nuclear Science) (includes Q&A)
